The Dell Latitude 3190 is a compact and exceptionally durable laptop, specifically designed to handle the challenges of busy environments like schools and workshops. It features a ruggedized chassis with rubberized trim and a hinge that opens a full 180 degrees, allowing it to lay completely flat. Crucially, the sealed, spill-resistant keyboard offers substantial protection against liquid accidents.
It is powered by the Intel Celeron N4100 Quad-Core processor (Gemini Lake architecture), which provides sufficient multi-core performance for light multitasking, web browsing, word processing, and cloud-based applications. This model comes with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM (soldered) and 64GB of eMMC (embedded MultiMediaCard) storage. While eMMC is not as fast as a traditional SSD, it ensures quick boot times compared to older hard drives and contributes to the laptop’s overall toughness by having no moving parts.
The device sports an 11.6-inch Non-Touch Anti-Glare Display with an HD resolution. Connectivity is practical, including two USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports and an HDMI port for easy connection to external monitors or projectors. With its light weight (approx. 1.27 kg) and efficient processor, the Latitude 3190 offers a highly reliable, low-cost solution for essential computing tasks and environments requiring extreme durability.
